Futari wa Pretty Cure  ( ふたりはプリキュア   Futari wa Purikyua ? , Lit. "We are Pretty Cure")  ( Pretty Cure  in the English and German dub,  Warriors of Light: Pretty Cure  [빛의 전사 프리큐어] in Korean Dub and  Pretty Soldiers  (Luftetaret e Bukura) in the Albanian Dub) was the first season in the series, directed by Daisuke Nishio and premiered on TV Asahi in February 1, 2004. The story revolves around two girls,  Misumi Nagisa  and  Yukishiro Honoka , who fight the forces of the  Dotsuku Zone  — a dimension of evil that encroached on the  Garden of Light . The Dotsuku Zone's power takes the form of the  Zakenna  ( ザケンナー   Zakennā ? ) , creatures that infect people or items to turn them evil.
